Dance F/X

Dance F/X is MMPAC's resident student repertory company, actually comprising three levels A, B, and C.  All students who have completed Ballet IV are invited to audition for the company.  Being a member of Dance F/X brings special opportunities as well as responsibilities.  The Company provides dancers with extra performance opportunities, the occasion to attend exciting national and regional conventions, and the chance to compete every other year.  Dancers learn and perform repertory in a variety of genres and often work with guest choreographers.

Company members are required to take classes in ballet, modern, jazz, and in other styles such as musical theater, tap, and lyrical.  As ambassadors of the studio, Dance F/X company members are expected to uphold the standards of MMPAC and to model discipline, respect, and a positive attitude.

Dance F/X is a great opportunity for dancers to gain pre-professional experience and to build lifelong bonds with fellow dancers.

The auditions for the 2012-13 year will be held on May 18, 2012.
